We will provide additional metro and bus services on Friday and Saturday nights during the pre-Christmas party season, from 17 November. Commuter trains will have extra carriages on weekends in December.
Additional services will operate until 16 December. Additional services will also operate to the same timetables on the eve of Independence Day, Tuesday 5 December.

Additional metro services 17 November to 16 December
The metro will be running two hours longer than usual on Friday and Saturday nights.
Between 17 November and 16 December, the last metro services on Fridays and Saturdays will be:
In the direction of Vuosaari and Mellunmäki
- From Kivenlahti to Vuosaari at 1.11am
- From the Central Railway Station to Vuosaari at 1.41am and to Mellunmäki at 1.33am
- From the Central Railway Station to Vuosaari at 1.41am and to Mellunmäki at 1.39am
In the direction of Kivenlahti
- To Vuosaari at 1.07am and to Mellunmäki at 1.15am
- From Kalasatama to Kivenlahti at 1.29am
- From the Central Railway Station to Kivenlahti at 1.36am
The last services will arrive at Vuosaari at 2.02am, at Mellunmäki at 1.54am and at Kivenlahti at 2.06am.
Additional commuter train services 1–16 December
K, P and L trains will have extra carriages on Friday and Saturday nights. Trains will have extra carriages until the night of Saturday 16 December.
Additional bus services 17 November to 16 December
Buses 61N, 66, 67N, 71, 78N, 84, 87, 108N, 112N, 113N, 114N, 118N, 125N, 147N, 231N, 235N, 300 and 436N will have additional late night services on Fridays and Saturdays.
Tram services on weekends
Trams 1T and 8T will run to the West Terminal on Saturdays and Sundays as usual. In other words, on weekends, the West Terminal is served by trams 7, 9, 1T and 8T. Trams 1T and 8T will not operate on the eve of Independence Day, 5 December.
