Bus route 8X has been diverted in Jätkäsaari and Ruoholahti since Thursday 18 July. Additional space is needed for the construction work that is being carried out on the Crusellinsilta bridge, which means that there is no room for buses to cross the bridge. During the diversion, the bus will run via Välimerenkatu and Jätkäsaarenlaituri in both directions.
From the direction of Jätkäsaari, the bus will run via Välimerenkatu, Jätkäsaarenlaituri, Itämerenkatu, Länsisatamankatu, Porkkalankatu and Mechelininkatu. From the direction of Töölö, the bus will run along the same route in the opposite direction.
The bus will not serve the “Kaapelitehdas” (H0291/H1358) and “Crusellinsilta” (H0293/H1352) stops. The bus will serve the “Saukonpaasi” (H0295) terminus in Jätkäsaari as usual. In order to be able to keep its timetable, the bus will not serve any additional stops along the diversion route.
