Due to the next phase of the works on Mannerheimintie, tram 10 will start running via Helsinginkatu to Vallila from Monday 2 September. The route of tram 3 will be extended to Pikku Huopalahti to replace tram 10. The tram will not run from Pikku Huopalahti to the south end of Mannerheimintie but it will run to the city center. Tram 3 will run to the city center via Alppila and Hakaniemi.
In the direction of Pikku Huopalahti, the tram will operate according to the operating hours of tram 10, i.e. until about midnight. After this, tram 3N will run to Kuusitie, which is the usual terminus of tram 3.

Information about the arrangements
The change is due to the start of the next phase of the improvement works on Mannerheimintie. Works will move to the section of Mannerheimintie between Runeberginkatu and Reijolankatu. Read more about changes to tram routes at the beginning of September on our website, hsl.fi/en/tramsautumn2024. The works will affect tram services until late 2025.
HSL is not responsible for the works, but we plan the diversion routes and inform passengers about changes to services. We have planned the diversion routes with the aim that the works would cause as little disruption to passengers as possible.
