The event includes a marathon, a half marathon, and 10km and 5km races. There is also a walk and a children’s race. The event is expected to attract thousands of runners and walkers. The start and finish lines are near Dipoli, the main building of Aalto University and at Otaniemi Sports Park.
Bus routes 52 and 510 will be diverted between 11am and 4pm. Bus 52 will take the following route to Otaniemi: normal route, via Kuusisaarentie, Ring I, and Maarintie to Tietotie. In the direction of Kuninkaantammi, the bus will run via Tietotie, Tekniikantie, Ring I, and Turunväylä to Huopalahdentie where it will resume its normal route. Bus 510 will run in both directions via Turunväylä and Ring I. The bus will not serve Kuusisaari, Lehtisaari, and Otaniemi.
Bus 52
Diversion route on Saturday 21 September between 11am and 4pm. In the direction of Otaniemi, the bus will run via Kuusisaarentie, Ring I, and Maarintie to Tietotie. In the direction of Kuninkaantammi, the bus will run via Tietotie, Tekniikantie, Ring I, and Turunväylä to Huopalahdentie where it will resume its normal route. There may also be delays around the race start times on Kuusisaarentie in the direction of Ring I.
The bus will not serve the “Innopoli” (E2220), “Vuorimies” (E2211), “Aalto-yliopisto” (E2225) and “Otaranta” (E2203) stops in the direction of Otaniemi.
In the direction of Kuninkaantammi, the bus will not serve the following stops: “Vuorimies” (E2212), “Aalto-yliopisto” (E2230), “Otaranta” (E2204), “Otaniemensilta” (E2202), “Lehtisaarentie” (H1414), “Kuusisaarenkuja” (H1412), “Kuusiniementie” (H1410), “Gert Skytten puisto” (H1408), “Munkkiniemen aukio” (H1500 and H1391) and “Lokkalantie” (H1393).
Bus 510
On Saturday 21 September between 11am and 4pm, bus 510 will run in both directions via Turunväylä and Ring I. The bus will not serve Kuusisaari, Lehtisaari and Otaniemi.
The bus will not serve the following stops: “Munkkiniemen aukio” (H1407), “Kuusiniementie” (H1410 and H1411), “Kuusisaarenkuja" (H1412 and H1413), “Lehtisaarentie” (H1414 and H1415), “Otaranta” (E2203 and E2204) and “Aalto-yliopisto” (E2225 and E2230).
The bus will serve the “Hagalundinsilta” (E2038 and E2039) and “Kurkijoentie” (E1201 and E1215) stops on Ring I.
Other bus routes and light rail 15
There may be delays to bus route 111 on Otakaari around the race start times. There may be delays to bus routes 520 and 531 on Nuottaniementie at Verkkopolku. There will be people directing traffic.
There may be short delays to light rail 15 on Otaniementie between 11am and 5pm.
