Tram 5 will run via Ylioppilastalo, the Central Railway Station and Mikonkatu clockwise from 4 October. The tram has been serving the stops on the opposite side of Mikonkatu due to repair of the switch control system.
Stops served by tram 5 at the Central Railway Station, on Mikonkatu and at Ylioppilastalo from 4 October:
- “Rautatieasema”, bay (H0301, Central Railway Station), terminus and departure stop in the direction of Katajanokka terminal
- “Mikonkatu” (H0424), stop for trams in the direction of Katajanokka terminal
- “Ylioppilastalo” (H0402), stop for tram in the direction of Central Railway Station
The functioning of the switch control system will be monitored. Tram 2 will continue to be diverted via Ylioppilastalo in the direction of Olympia Terminal until further notice.
