The Finkensilta Bridge will open on Thursday, 7 August. Initially, the bridge will be exclusively for visitors to Korkeasaari Zoo. The Korkeasaarensilta Bridge, connecting Mustikkamaa and Korkeasaari, will be closed for renovation.
Until now, the destination of bus route 16, which runs from Railway Square to the Mustikkamaa end of the Korkeasaari Bridge, has been Korkeasaari. Starting Thursday, 7 August, the destination will change to Mustikkamaa. Additionally, the departure and end stop of the bus in Mustikkamaa will be relocated about 50 meters closer to the walking path leading to Isoisänsilta Bridge.

Tram 13 takes you to Korkeasaari
Tram 13 will take you to Korkeasaari conveniently. The "Nihti" (H0870 and H0871) tram stops are within walking distance of the new Finkensilta Bridge. Tram 13 runs between Länsi-Pasila and Nihti. If you are traveling to Korkesaari from the city center, change from the Metro to tram 13 at Kalasatama.
