Starting Monday, 3 November, bus routes 162, 163, 163K, 165, 165N, 166, 166K, 168, 213, 242 and 911 will be diverted in Kauklahti due to the closure of Hansatie. The buses will not serve any stops on Hansatie between Kauklahden puistotie and Räävelintie. The buses will run via Valhallantie between Kauklahti station and Hansavalmakanaukio. Other changes will also be made to the routes of certain buses. Bus routes 163 and 166K will not operate at all during the diversions.
The reason for the diversions is construction work on Hansatie. The diversions are expected to remain in place until 14 June 2026.

Bus route 162
Bus route 162 will run via Kauklahti station, Kauklahden puistotie and Valhallantie to its terminus. The bus will not serve Hansatie and the western part of Valhallantie. The bus will not serve the “Hansakallio” (E5135/E5136), “Riiantie” (E5132/E5133), “Puikkari” (E5138/E5137), “Hansavalkamanaukio” (E5155) and “Vidarinkuja” (E5180/E5181) stops. The bus will serve all the stops along the diversion route.
Bus routes 163 and 163K
Bus route 163 will not operate at all during the diversions. All services on the route will operate via Vanttila under route number 163K during the diversions. The bus will arrive at the stops between Suvisaaristo and Kauklahti station approximately one minute earlier than usual. Between Kauklahti station and Suvisaaristo, the bus will arrive at the stops one minute later than usual. The bus will serve all the stops along the diversion route.
Bus route 165
Bus route 165 will run via Hansavalkamanaukio, Valhallantie and Kauklahden puistotie and then resume its own route. The bus will not run via Hansatie.
Bus route 165N
Bus route 165N will run via Kauklahti station, Kauklahden puistotie, Valhallantie and Hansavalkamanaukio. The bus will not serve Hansatie and the northern part of Valhallantie.
Bus routes 166 and 166K
Bus route 166K will not operate at all during the diversions. The two daily services on the route will be operated on bus route 166. Following the change, there will no longer be a direct link from Lasilaakso to the services at Hansavalkamanaukio. As an alternative connection to the services at Hansavalkamanaukio, passengers can transfer to bus 165, 213, or 242 at Hansavalkamanaukio, or to bus 165 at the “Åminnensilta” stops at Kauklahdenväylä.
Bus route 168
From Keski-Espoon uimahalli to Valhalla, bus 168 will be diverted to run via Klippinki, Kauklahden puistotie, Valhallantie, Hansavalkamanaukio, Hansatie, Hansakartano, Kauklahden puistotie, Valhallantie to its own terminus. The bus will operate as usual in the other direction. The journey time will lengthen by approximately three minutes from Keski-Espoon uimahalli to Valhalla.
Bus routes 213 and 242
Bus route 213 will run via Kauklahti station, Kauklahden puistotie, Valhallantie and Hansavalkamanaukio. The bus will not serve Hansatie. The journey time on the route will lengthen by one minute. As a result, the estimated departure and arrival times at stops will shift by approximately one minute.
Bus route 242 will run via Kauklahti station, Kauklahden puistotie, Valhallantie and Hansavalkamanaukio. The bus will not run via Hansatie.
Bus route 911
During the diversion, bus route 911 will run only as far as Hansavalkamanaukio. The bus will not serve Hansatie.
