Starting Monday 4 May, H trains will operate twice a day between Helsinki and Hanko, around midday and in the evening. The change is based on a contract between VR and the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom.
HSL tickets are valid on trains operating between Helsinki and Siuntio, that is, within the HSL area. H trains stop at Pasila, Leppävaara, Espoon keskus, Kirkkonummi and Siuntio.
The new services:
- From Helsinki at 10.08am → from Hanko at 10.37am → to Helsinki at 11.54am
- From Helsinki at 8.53pm (daily)
- From Hanko at 9.18pm → from Siuntio at 10.41pm → to Helsinki
The 9.12pm service from Siuntio to Helsinki will be withdrawn.
Service disruptions:
- During the track works on weekends in May, H trains will run only between Kirkkonummi and Hanko, not to Helsinki.
- During the longer service disruption from 22 June to 26 July caused by the Espoo City Rail Link project, H trains will operate only between Karjaa and Hanko, not within the HSL area.
