Timetable changes on several bus routes from 1 June due to schools' summer holiday period

There will be timetable changes on several bus routes from 1 June due to the schools' summer holiday period. The changes mainly concern peak-time services, which will be reduced. The changes will be in effect from 1 June to 14 June, after which HSL public transport will switch to summer timetables.

Especially peak-time services will be reduced on bus routes 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 500, 510, 560, 600, 614, 614K 617, 623 and 633. The changes are due to lower passenger numbers during the schools' summer holiday period. The changes will be in effect from 1 June to 14 June, after which HSL public transport will switch to summer timetables.

Changes per bus route

At peak times, the headway on routes 80 and 82 will increase from 10 to 12 minutes. The timetable changes will affect services on the routes approximately from 7am to 9.30am and 2pm to 5pm towards Itäkeskus, and from about 7am to 9am and 2.15pm to 4.30pm towards Herttoniemi.

At peak times, the headway on route 81 will increase from 12 to 15 minutes. The timetable changes will affect eastbound services approximately from 6.45am to 9am and 3pm to 5pm, and westbound services from about 6.45am to 8.30am and 2.30pm to 5pm.

At peak times, the headway on route 83 will increase from 12 to 15 minutes. The timetable changes will affect services on the route approximately from 7am to 9am and 2pm to 5pm.

In the morning peak, route 84 will run less frequently, going from every 8 minutes to every 15 minutes. In the afternoon peak, the route will run every 12 minutes instead of the current 8 minutes. The timetable changes will affect services on the route approximately from 6.30am to 10am and 2.30pm to 6pm towards Laajasalo and Herttoniemi.

In the morning peak, the headway on routes 85, 86, 87, 88 and 89 will increase from 10 to 15 minutes. The timetable changes will affect services on the routes approximately from 6.30am to 10am towards Laajasalo and Herttoniemi.

Bus routes 85, 86, 87, 88 and 89 will run less frequently in the afternoon peak, with headways increasing from 10 to 12 minutes. The timetable changes will affect services on the routes approximately from 2.30pm to 6pm towards Laajasalo and Herttoniemi.

The headway on bus routes 500 and 510 will increase from 7.5 to 8 minutes at peak times. The timetable changes will affect westbound services approximately from 6am to 10am and 2.30pm to 6.30pm, and eastbound services from about 6am to 9am and 1.30pm to 5.45pm.

Trunk route bus 560 will run every 10 minutes instead of every 8 minutes at peak times. Minor changes will be made to the stop-specific timetables.

Trunk route bus 600 will run every 10 minutes instead of every 7–8 minutes on weekdays at peak times. At the same time, the timetables of the route may be adjusted by a few minutes.

At peak times, the headway on route 623 will increase from the current 20 minutes to 30 minutes, and minor changes may occur in the timetables of regional bus routes 614, 614K, 617 and 633. All up-to-date timetables are available in the Journey Planner.
