The Espoon keskus bus terminal will be closed from 15 June due to construction work. The “Espoon asema” bus stops, bay 10 (E6042) and bay 11 (E6027), will be closed. In addition, the “Espoon asema” stop (E6019) will be relocated about 50 meters eastward along Kirkkojärventie from Thursday 25 June. The construction work will also affect access routes on and around Kirkkojärventie. The arrangements are expected to remain in place until the end of August. Arrangements at the temporary bus terminal
Buses 200, 241, 241V, 242, 235, 243, 243V, 244, 245, 245A, 247 and 247B will serve the temporary bus terminal north of Kirkkojärventie in the Virastopiha area. The buses will use the new “Espoon asema” bus stops, bay 14 (E6162) and bay 15 (E6061) from Monday 15 June.
Buses 200, 242, 243, 243V, 244, 245, 245A, 247 and 247B arriving at Espoon keskus from the direction of Kirkkokatu will use bay 15 at Virastopiha. They will also drop off passengers at bay 13 (“Espoon asema” E6008) on Kirkkojärventie. This stop is closer to Espoo station.
Buses 200, 241, 241V, 242, 243, 243V, 244, 245, 245A, 247 and 247B from Espoon keskus towards Kirkkokatu will depart from bay 14 at Virastopiha and run eastward along Kirkkojärventie.
Buses 235N, 241 and 241V from the direction of Espoonväylä will drop off passengers at bay 15 at Virastopiha. Towards Espoonväylä, the buses will depart from bay 14.
Buses 118, 213N and 531 will depart from bay 14 at Virastopiha. They will drop off passengers at bay 13 (“Espoon asema” E6008) and at the terminus, bay 15 at Virastopiha (“Espoon asema” E6061).
Buses 118N, 169, 213, 530 and 542 will serve the “Espoon asema” stops E6008, bay 13, and E6019, bay 12, on Kirkkojärventie.
Walking distances from the temporary terminal to the train station are longer than usual. If you are transferring from a train, use bay 12 (“Espoon asema”, E6019) on Kirkkojärventie, as it is closer to the station and gives you more time to make your transfer.
In addition, buses 224 and 224B will be temporarily rerouted. From 15 June, they will not run to Espoo station.
