Bus 55 will be rerouted via Kruununhaka
Bus 55 will be rerouted between Kaisaniemi and Sörnäisten rantatie to run via Liisankatu and Pohjoisranta. It will no longer run via Pitkäsilta and Hakaniemenranta. The bus will provide a direct connection from Railway Square to Liisankatu and Kruununhaka, improving public transport connections in the area. Services will increase, particularly in the evening and on weekends. The bus will depart from bay 2 at Railway Square.
Bus 81 will be rerouted in Kulosaari
The route of bus 81 will be extended to the southern parts of Kulosaari. The bus will provide connections to Herttoniemi and Kulosaari Metro Station. On weekdays, it will run up to every 12 minutes at peak times.
Transport links to Korkeasaari and Mustikkamaa
Korkeasaari and Mustikkamaa can be reached by taking tram 13 to the "Polariksekatu" and "Sompasaari" stops.Tram services to Laajasalo are expected to start in early 2027, further improving connections to destinations such as Korkeasaari.
