Bus route 105 will be extended from Lauttasaari via Ruoholahti Metro Station to Hietalahdenranta. Bus route 22 will start serving Jätkäsaari, running via Länsisatamankatu, Välimerenkatua and Jätkäsaarenkatu.
Going forward, neighborhood bus 26 will operate between Ruoholahti and Salmisaarenranta only in the morning peak. At other times, Salmisaarenranta will be served by bus route 105.
What does this mean for passengers?
- Bus route 105 will provide a new direct connection from Hietalahti and Ruoholahti to Lauttasaari. It will also provide a direct bus connection from Espoo to Hietalahti.
- Connections from Jätkäsaari to Punavuori and Lauttasaari and further to Espoo will improve thanks to the rerouting of bus 22.

Bus route 105 will be the main connection to Salmisaarenranta. Neighborhood bus 26 will only operate in the morning peak, and bus route 22K will be replaced by bus route 105.
