Additional public transport services during the festival
Flow Festival takes place in Suvilahti, Helsinki. You can easily get to the festival by Metro, tram or bus.However, we recommend using the Metro, as it provides a fast and convenient connection between Suvilahti and Helsinki city centre.
At night after the festival, you can also hop on a night bus. The buses run between the city center and East Helsinki via Sörnäisten rantatie and Itäväylä.

Public transport services over the festival weekend
- The Metro runs later than usual during the festival.
- On the nights of Friday 14 August and Saturday 15 August, tram 13 will run more frequently from Nihti until 1.40am. On Sunday 16 August, the tram will run more frequently from 11pm to midnight.
- On the nights of Friday 14 August and Saturday 15 August, U, L, P, I and K trains will operate with additional carriages.
- On 13–17 August, bus route 55 will be diverted in Kalasatama. For more information, please read our separate release.
Metro service over the festival weekend
On the nights of Friday 14 August and Saturday 15 August, the Metro will run two hours later than usual. The Metro will run every 15 minutes on both lines (M1 and M2). Between Kivenlahti and Itäkeskus, the Metro will run every 7.5 minutes.
Last Metro services on the nights of Friday 14 August and Saturday 15 August
- From Kivenlahti at 1.16am, from Vuosaari at 1.07am and from Mellunmäki at 1.14am.
- From the Railway Square to Vuosaari at 1.46am and to Mellunmäki at 1.38am. From the Railway Square to Kivenlahti at 1.36am.
- From Kalasatama to Vuosaari at 1.52am and to Mellunmäki at 1.44am. From Kalasatama to Kivenlahti at 1.29am.
- The last service will arrive at Vuosaari station at 2.07am, at Mellunmäki station at 1.59am and at Kivenlahti station at 2.06am.
On Sunday 16 August, the Metro will run 15 minutes longer than usual towards Kivenlahti and Tapiola. Westbound Metro trains will run every 20 minutes on both lines (M1 and M2). Between Kivenlahti and Itäkeskus, the Metro will run every 10 minutes.
Towards Mellunmäki and Vuosaari, the Metro will run as usual.

- From Kalasatama to Vuosaari at 11.52pm and to Mellunmäki at 11.44pm. From Kalasatama to Kivenlahti at 11.44pm.
- The last service will arrive at Vuosaari station at 0.07am, at Mellunmäki station at 11.59pm and at Kivenlahti station at 0.21am.

The festival area in Suvilahti is located in zone A. For journeys between Helsinki city center and the festival area, you need an AB ticket. The Journey Planner shows you automatically the zones when buying a ticket.
