Certain I and P train services cancelled on 18–23 August due to track maintenance work – P and K trains will not stop at Oulunkylä and Käpylä stations on the nights of 26 and 27 August

There will be changes to I, P and K train services in August due to track maintenance work. Certain I train services will be cancelled in the late evenings and during the night on 18–23 August. Some P train services will also be cancelled. Certain late evening P and K trains towards Helsinki will not stop at Oulunkylä and Käpylä stations on the nights of 26 and 27 August.

Changes to I and P train services on 18–23 August

  • The night of Tuesday 18 August: I trains departing from Helsinki between 10.06pm and 11.36pm are cancelled.
  • The night of Wednesday 19 August: I trains departing from Helsinki between 10.06pm and 11.36pm are cancelled.
  • The night of Thursday 20 August I: trains departing from Helsinki between 10.21pm and 11.36pm are cancelled.
  • The night of Friday 21 August: I trains departing from Helsinki between 11.36pm and 0.06am are cancelled.
  • The night of Saturday 22 August: The 0.06am I train from Helsinki is cancelled.

In addition, the 11.25pm P train from Myyrmäki to Helsinki is cancelled on the nights of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 18–20 August.

When the I trains are cancelled, only P trains will operate on the Ring Rail Line. During the disruption, you can travel on P trains:

  • with an AB ticket via Helsinki Airport to stations south of Tikkurila 
  • with a BC ticket by changing trains at Pasila.

 

P and K trains will not stop at Oulunkylä and Käpylä stations on the nights of 26 and 27 August

Due to track maintenance work on the Main Line, certain P and K trains towards Helsinki will not stop at Oulunkylä and Käpylä stations on the nights of Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August.

On both nights, the following trains will not stop at Oulunkylä and Käpylä stations:

  • The 10.25pm P train from Myyrmäki to Helsinki
  • K trains from Kerava to Helsinki at 10.44pm, 10.59pm, 11.14pm, 11.29pm, 0.05am and 0.35am.
