The Night of the Arts will take place in downtown Helsinki on Thursday 20 August.
We will add additional carriages to commuter trains in anticipation of the large number of visitors attending the event. In addition, due to the event, tram routes 2, 3, 4 and 7 will be diverted approximately from 6.30pm to 9pm.
Tram diversions
Trams 2 and 3
Trams 2 and 3 have two different diversion routes. On the first diversion route, tram 3 will run to the Olympiaterminaali (H0435) stop along its regular route, and then continue towards Messukeskus under route number 2. After Messukeskus, the tram will leave its regular route and run to Snellmaninkatu, continuing via Liisankatu, Kaisaniemenkatu and Kaivokatu before resuming its regular route.

The second diversion route for trams 2 and 3 begins at Messukeskus. From Messukeskus, the trams will run via Mannerheimintie to Bulevardi under route number 2, and then continue via Fredrikinkatu and Laivurinkatu to the Telakkakatu (H046) stop on Tehtaankatu in Eira. From there, the trams will return towards Kuusitie along the same route under route number 3.

Tram 2 will not serve the following stops:
- Olympiaterminaali (H0434)
- Eteläranta (H0432)
- Kauppatori (H0430)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Mikonkatu (H0424 and H0425)
- Rautatieasema (H0301).
Tram 3 will not serve the following stops:
- Olympiaterminaali (H0434)
- Kaivopuisto (H0436)
- Neitsytpolku (H0438)
- Kapteeninkatu (H0440)
- Eiran sairaala (H0442)
- Viiskulma (H0815)
- Iso Roobertinkatu (H0813).
The trams will serve all the stops along their diversion route.
Diversion routes for trams 4 and 7
Tram 4 will be diverted to run via the Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu. Tram 7 will be diverted to run via Kaisaniemenkatu.

Tram 4 will not serve the following stops:
- Ylioppilastalo (H0401 and H0402)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406).
Tram 7 will not serve the following stops:
- Snellmaninkatu (H0454 and H0455)
- Kansallisarkisto (H0452 and H0453)
- Hallituskatu (H0450 and H0451)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Mikonkatu (H0424 and H0425).
The trams will serve all the stops along their diversion route.
