Several construction projects are under way in Munkkivuori, affecting bus services in the area. Naantalintie will be closed to traffic due to the refurbishment and expansion of the Munkkivuori shopping center and the construction of the West Helsinki Light Rail.
Due to the closure of Naantalintie, the "Munkkivuoren kirkko" (H1377) stop will be closed, resulting in changes to the termini and departure stops of buses 31, 32, 33 and 35.
Changes to bus stops and routes
From 5 October 2026, buses 31, 32 and 33 will terminate at and depart from the "Munkkivuoren ostoskeskus" (H1432) stop. Due to the closure of Naantalintie, these buses will run to the stop via Huopalahdentie, Ulvilantie and Raumantie.
Bus 35 will run to Niemenmäki via Huopalahdentie. It will terminate at and depart from the "Munkkivuori" (H1416) stop. Bus 34 will also use this stop.
From 5 October, some service on bus routes 34 and 35 will be synchronized tobetter serve school journeys.

According to current estimates, the stop and route changes will remain in place until September 2028.
