The new western entrance at Kamppi Metro Station will open on Monday, 12 October. The new entrance and the underground access to the Kamppi Metro Station and Kamppi shopping center will improve accessibility and make it easier to transfer between trunk bus routes 20 and 30 and the Metro. The new entrance will provide passengers with an alternative route to the Metro in a busy interchange for Metro, bus and tram services.

Street and track works are being carried out in Kamppi and near Runeberginkatu throughout the autumn. The construction of the West Helsinki Light Rail on Runeberginkatu will cause changes to tram services as the work progresses.

The new Kamppi Health and Well-being Centre was completed on 15 September, over a year ahead of schedule. The street project will be completed by the end of 2026, and the health and well-being centre will open in spring 2027.
