Bus routes operating along Mäkelänkatu provide alternative connections. The diversion will start at either 10pm or 10.30pm, depending on the day of the week.
Diversion start times:
- On the night of Sunday 20 September: 10.30pm
- On the nights from Monday 21 September to Saturday 26 September: 10pm
- On the nights from Saturday 29 September to Monday 28 September: 10.30pm
Please note that in Sörnäinen, tram 7 will use bay 11 on Helsinginkatu towards Pasila.
The tram will serve the following stops along the diversion route: "Sörnäinen" (bay 11), "Helsinginkatu", "Urheilutalo", "Porvoonkatu", "Sturenkatu", "Kotkankatu", "Pasilan konepaja", "Jämsänkatu" and "Asemapäällikönkatu".
The diversion is due to track work on Mäkelänkatu.
The following stops will not be served:
- Sörnäinen (M) (H0313), replacement stop bay 11 (H0314) on Helsinginkatu
- Lautatarhankatu (H0331 and H0332)
- Vallilan kirjasto (H0333 and H0334)
- Hattulantie (H0265 and H0266)
- Mäkelänrinne (H0269 and H0270)
- Velodromi (H0617 and H0618)
- Asemapäällikönkatu (H0611 and H0619)
