The bus will no longer turn left from Risto Rytin tie onto Kyösti Kallion tie. Instead, it will continue straight along Risto Rytin tie to Itäväylä. Towards Herttoniemi, the bus will no longer serve the Kulosaari Metro Station stop (H4025) on Svinhufvudintie. Instead, it will serve a new stop, “Risto Rytin tie” (H4021).
The change is being made to help buses run more smoothly and improve road safety.
There will also be minor changes to the weekday timetables of bus 81 from 26 October to improve punctuality. The first morning service will leave Länsi-Herttoniemi earlier, at 5.10am, to provide more reliable connections.
