Kruunusillat – new tramway to Laajasalo

Trams will begin operating in new areas when the new tram connection between Hakaniemi and Laajasalo opens. The goal is to have two new tram lines, 11 and 12, operating on HSL public transport by the end of 2026.

Swift journeys

The journey between Yliskylä in Laajasalo and Hakaniemi takes only about 18 minutes

Directly to Pasila

The tram running between Kruunuvuorenranta and Pasila will also serve Kalasatama Metro Station

Frequent services

Tram 11 to Kruunuvuorenranta has the same service frequency as tram 13, while tram 12 to Yliskylä will provide an even more frequent service

Changes to bus services in Laajasalo

Bus routes and service frequencies in Laajasalo will change once tram services begin, currently estimated to take place in early 2027. Bus services will continue to provide frequent and comprehensive connections between Laajasalo and Herttoniemi Metro Station.

Key changes:

  • Route 84 will be withdrawn.
  • Routes 85 and 85N will remain unchanged. Route 85K will run via Reiherintie in the morning peak.
  • Route 86 will run via Reiherintie. Routes 86K and 86N will be withdrawn.
  • Route 87 will run via Gunillantie and Yliskylä. Route 87N will run via Gunillantie.
  • Route 88 will run via Gunillantie and Yliskylä.
  • Route 89 will be withdrawn.
