The goal is that the Metro will run according to the timetables from summer 2021 on Tuesday and Wednesday. The Metro will run every 4 minutes between 6.45am&ndash;8.15pm on the shared section of line between Tapiola and It&auml;keskus. The Metro will not operate with peak time frequencies of 2.5 minutes.
It is also possible that other disruptions will occur in metro and tram services.
The disruptions are caused by a protest by labor union Helsingin raidety&ouml;ntekij&auml;t (JHL ry 007) on Tuesday 7 September.
The Metro will operate a reduced service also on Wednesday 8 September.
