Katariinankatu will be closed to traffic from 2pm Friday, 27 June to 7am Saturday, 28 June and from 3.30pm Saturday, 28 June to 7am Sunday, 29 June due to the Bassline Festival. During these times, tram routes 2, 3 and 9T will be diverted.
Tram 3 will run from Laivurinkatu via Tehtaankatu to the terminus of tram 1 (“Telakkakatu” H0446) on Pursimiehkatu instead of Olympia Terminal. From there, the tram will continue towards Pasila station under route number 2. Tram 2 to Pasila station will not serve the section of route from Olympia Terminal via Aleksanterinkatu to Central Railway Station.
Tram 2 from Pasila station to Olympia Terminal will run as usual. From Olympia Terminal, the tram will continue towards Pikku Huopalahti under route number 3.
Tram 9T will run to Kolmikulma (H0709) instead of Market Square.
The following stops will not be served:
- Päärautatieasema (H0301 and H0302, Central Railway Station)
- Mikonkatu (H0424 and H0425)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406, Senate Square)
- Kauppatori (H0429, Market Square)
Additionally, there will be tram diversions on Saturday 28 June between 11am and 3.30pm due to the Pride parade. Read more in a separate service update.
