Diversion route of tram 2
Tram 2 will run towards Pasila station via Laivasillankatu, Eteläranta, Market Square, Katariinankatu, Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu, Kaisaniemenkatu, Kaivokatu and Simonkatu.
Tram 2 towards Olympia Terminal will run via Simonkatu, Mannerheimintie, Bulevardi, Fredrikinkatu, Laivurinkatu, and Tehtaankatu.
The following stops will not be served:
- Päärautatieasema (H0301, Central Railway Station)
- Mikonkatu (H0424 and H0425)
- Ylioppilastalo (H0401)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406, Senate Square)
- Kauppatori (H0430, Market Square)
- Eteläranta (H0432)
- Olympiaterminaali (H0434, Olympia Terminal)
Diversion route of tram 3
Tram 3 will run towards Pikku Huopalahti via Laivasillankatu, Eteläranta, Market Square, Katariinankatu, Snellmaninkatu, Liisankatu, Kaisaniemenkatu, Central Railway Station and Mannerheimintie.
The following stops will not be served:
- Olympiaterminaali (H0434, Olympia Terminal)
- Kaivopuisto (H0436)
- Neitsytpolku (H0438)
- Kapteeninkatu (H0440)
- Eiran sairaala (H0442)
- Viiskulma (H0815)
- Iso Roobertinkatu (H0813)
- Fredrikinkatu (H0803)
- Erottaja (H0801)
- Ylioppilastalo (H0701)
Towards Olympia Terminal, tram 3 will run as usual.
Trams 2 and 3 run one-way in the southern central city area and switch route numbers at Olympia Terminal.
Diversion route of tram 4
Tram 4 will run via Central Railway Station, Liisankatu and Snellmaninkatu. The following stops between the Senate Square and Mannerheimintie will not be served:
- Ylioppilastalo (H0401 and H0402)
- Aleksanterinkatu (H0403 and H0404)
- Senaatintori (H0405 and H0406, Senate Square)
Diversion route of tram 9T
Tram 9T will run to Erottaja instead of Market Square. The tram will turn from Simonkatu to Mannerheimintie. The terminus will be “Erottaja” (H0802). The tram will not serve the “Kolmikulma” (H0709) stop. In the direction of Vallila, the first stop will be “Ylioppilastalo” (H0701).
Tram 2 will not serve the section of route from Simonkatu via Central Railway Station to Market Square. The following stops will not be served: “Päärautatieasema” (H0301 and H0302, Central Railway Station), “Mikonkatu” (H0424 and H0425), “Aleksanterinkatu” (H0403 and H0404), “Senaatintori” (H0405 and H0406, Senate Square) and “Kauppatori” (H0429, Market Square).
Diversion route of tram 10
Tram 10 will run to Kolmikulma (H0709) instead of Tarkk’ampujankatu. The following stops will not be served: “Kolmikulma” (H0703 and H0704), “Johanneksen kirkko” (H0705 and H0706, St. John’s Church) and “Tarkk’ampujankatu” (H0708).
Tram diversions in downtown Helsinki on 27-29 June due to the Bassline Festival
Tram routes 2, 3 and 9T will be diverted in the city center from 2pm Friday 27 June to 7am Saturday 28 June and from 3.30pm Saturday 28 June to 7am Sunday 29 June due to the Bassline Festival. Read more in a separate service update.
The Metro will run two hours longer than usual over the weekend of 27–29 June
The Metro will run two hours longer than usual on the nights of 27 to 29 June. Services will run every 15 minutes until the end of service on both lines M1 and M2. The service frequency will be 7.5 minutes between Kivenlahti and Itäkeskus, and every 15 minutes between Itäkeskus and Puotila/Mellunmäki.
