Changes to bus routes 236 and 239 from 11 August

There will be changes to bus routes 236 and 239 from Monday, 11 August. Bus route 236 will terminate in Vanhakartano, while route 239 will be extended to Serena. These changes are part of the rerouting of bus routes in North Espoo taking effect in August.

Bus 236 will be rerouted to terminate in Vanhakartano. In the future, the bus will run from Leppävaara via Viherlaakso to Vanhakartano. Bus route 236B will be replaced by new routes 227 and 237.

Bus route 239 will replace the withdrawn section of route 236 to Serena. Bus 239 will run from Leppävaara via Viherlaakso, Perusmäki and Kalajärvi to Serena. Additionally, route 239V will start operating on weekdays approximately between 6am and 8am. Bus route 239V will replace bus route 236V serving Koskelo. Otherwise, it will follow the same route as bus 239.

The routes and timetables of the new service are available in the Journey Planner. Remember to add the new route to your favorites to keep updated about any service changes or disruptions.

You may notice changes to route numbers and timetables at stops before the changes take effect. Please use the Journey Planner for up-to-date timetables.

These changes are part of a broader reorganization of bus routes in North Espoo. Read more in our previous release.
