The “Kalasatama” stops (bays 11 and 12, H0860 and H0861) will be relocated about 200 meters to Leonkatu, near the Arielinkatu junction.
The stops must be relocated to ensure both the safety of workers at the construction site and the safety of passers-by and passengers in the vicinity of the site.
The stops are expected to remain at the temporary location until 2028. A support pier for the new Metro bridge is currently being built on Hermannin rantatie, near the tram stops at Kalasatama Metro Station.
