HSL will survey public transport customer satisfaction and conduct fleet quality controls

HSL will conduct surveys on public transport to measure passenger satisfaction and field observations to evaluate the quality of public transport fleet. The surveys will be conducted on buses, trams, the metro and commuter trains from 10 January to 13 May.

Customer satisfaction surveys between January and May 2022

HSL conducts surveys on public transport to measure passenger satisfaction with public transport services in the HSL area. By responding, you help us improve our services.

The survey will be conducted on buses, trams, the metro and commuter trains from 10 January to 13 May. The goal is to obtain responses from nearly 30,000 passengers. We commission the survey from Taloustutkimus Oy.

We will use the survey results to develop public transport services, as well as for staff training and calculating quality incentives for tendered services. Once the survey is completed, the results will be available at: https://hsl.louhin.com/asty/

The safety of passengers is of utmost importance to us. We have taken precautions to minimize spreading the coronavirus. The field researchers wear safety gear, clipboards will be cleaned between uses and each respondent will be given a pen. We are closely following authorities’ guidelines regarding the coronavirus.

Fleet quality controls between January and May 2022

HSL conducts field observations to evaluate the quality of public transport fleet. The aim is to make sure the vehicles in service in the HSL area are clean, safe and comfortable.

In spring 2022, we will conduct fleet quality controls on bus, tram, metro and commuter train services from 10 January to 13 May. Some 4,000 vehicles will be controlled during this period.

HSL commissions the surveys from Taloustutkimus Oy.
