HSL’s commuter train services to Karjaa will be discontinued on 21 June

HSL’s commuter train services will no longer serve Karjaa train station as of 21 June. In the past, one Y train to Helsinki has departed from Karjaa train station at 5.44am every weekday morning, while one L train has run from Helsinki to Karjaa with an arrival time of 0.20am. In the future, trains will only run between Siuntio and Helsinki. In addition, one additional train will run from Helsinki to Siuntio on weekday mornings. Bus 192T/V will provide services to Raasepori in the future.

HSL’s commuter train services will no longer serve Karjaa train station as of 21 June. In the past, one Y train to Helsinki has departed from Karjaa train station every weekday morning, while one L train has run from Helsinki to Karjaa in the evenings. In the future, trains will only run between Siuntio and Helsinki. In addition, one additional train will run from Helsinki to Siuntio on weekday mornings.

L train that has departed from Helsinki at 11.03pm has previously arrived at Karjaa train station at 0.20am. In the future, the train will only run to Siuntio with the same timetable. The last L train to Karjaa arrives at Karjaa train station at 0.20am on Monday 21 June. The Y train that has thus far left from Karjaa to Helsinki on weekday mornings at 5.44am will now run only from Siuntio to Helsinki starting at 6.09am.

Services to Siuntio will be improved as the L train that leaves from Helsinki on weekdays at 5.03am will run all the way to Siuntio in the future.

The train services that will be discontinued are services that the city of Raasepori has procured from HSL. Bus route 192T/V will continue to provide alternative services from Helsinki to Karjaa and the Raasepori area.
