A and L trains will resume service on the Coastal Line on Monday 10 August. E, U, Y and H trains will return to the line already on 27 July. The Coastal Line is the railway line running from Helsinki towards Kirkkonummi.
Several temporary changes to train services will remain in place, and some routes will continue to operate a reduced service due to construction works.
Tuomarila station will remain closed until 4am on 5 October 2026. Read more about the construction work at Tuomarila and replacement services.

E, U, A, L and X trains from 10 August
- A and L will operate to their normal timetables.
- E and U trains will no longer stop at Ilmala station.
- U and X trains will no longer operate at night as L trains resume service.
H and Y trains from 10 August
- Going forward, H trains will also stop at Huopalahti, Kauklahti and Masala. Some Y train services will be replaced by H trains that continue beyond the HSL area via Karjaa until Hanko. As a result, the timetables of Y and H trains will change.
- The 7.09am Y train from Siuntio to Helsinki on weekdays and the 5.23pm Y train from Helsinki to Siuntio on weekdays will be operated as H trains.
- The 6.24pm Y train from Siuntio to Helsinki on weekdays will be withdrawn.
- The 10.07am H train from Helsinki will only operate on weekdays.
- The 11.54am H trains from Siuntio to Helsinki will operate on weekdays and Saturdays.
- A new H train service will be introduced on Sundays. The train will depart from Helsinki at 6.23pm.
- The 8.52pm H train from Helsinki and 10.40pm H train from Siuntio to Helsinki will only operate on weekends.
