Malminkartano, Kannelmäki and Pohjois-Haaga stations will be renovated, and there will be no train services between Myyrmäki and Huopalahti from 1 June. In addition, all A train services will be suspended for the entire summer. Moreover, I, P and K train services will be affected by the renovation of Tapanila and Puistola stations. The construction of the Espoo Rail Line will continue this summer, causing a five-week-long disruption to train services from Leppävaara to Siuntio after Midsummer.

Disruptions to commuter train services in summer 2026
- From 3 May to 6 September, Malminkartano station is closed, and there will be no train services at the station.
- From 1 June to 9 August, I and P trains will not run between Helsinki and Myyrmäki, and Malminkartano, Kannelmäki and Pohjois-Haaga stations will be closed.
- From 1 June to 9 August, A trains will not operate, and there will be no train services at Valimo, Pitäjänmäki and Mäkkylä stations.
- From 1 June to 9 August, I, P and K trains will operate a reduced service. I trains towards Helsinki Airport will not stop at Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila and Puistola stations.
- From 22 June to 26 July, there will be no train services west of Leppävaara due to construction of the Espoo Rail Line. Trains will not run between Leppävaara and Siuntio.
- From 22 June to 4 October, Tuomarila station is closed, and there will be no train services at the station.
No train services between Myyrmäki and Huopalahti
There will be no train services between Myyrmäki and Huopalahti from 1 June to 9 August. During the disruption, Pohjois-Haaga, Kannelmäki and Malminkartano stations will be closed. In addition, trains will pass Malminkartano station without stopping from 3 May to 31 May and from 10 August to 6 September, with I and P trains running between Helsinki and Myyrmäki less frequently than normal. The disruptions are due to the renovation of Malminkartano, Kannelmäki and Pohjois-Haaga stations undertaken by Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd as well as track work carried out by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. A trains will not operate and Valimo, Pitäjänmäki and Mäkkylä stations will be closed
A train services will be suspended from 1 June to 9 August. During this time, there will be no train service at Valimo, Pitäjänmäki and Mäkkylä stations. Other train services between Leppävaara and Helsinki will operate as usual, and buses and other public transport services will provide replacement services for trains. The disruption is related to repair work on the railway bridge over Hämeenlinnanväylä carried out by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. I, P and K trains will operate a reduced service and I trains will not stop at Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila and Puistola stations
From 1 June to 9 August, I, P and K trains will operate a reduced service, running every 20 minutes. During this time, I trains towards Helsinki Airport will not stop at Pukinmäki, Malmi, Tapanila and Puistola stations. These stations will only be served by K trains. These service changes are due to track work and the renovation of Tapanila and Puistola stations carried out by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. Disruptions to Coastal Line train services will continue in the summer and autumn
Train services on the Coastal Line will be disrupted for five weeks after Midsummer due to track work carried out by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency. Train services from Leppävaara towards Kauklahti, Kirkkonummi and Siuntio will be suspended entirely from 22 June to 26 July. In addition, shorter disruptions of one to two days will take place on weekends in September–October. During the disruptions, E, U, L and Y trains will not run and train services will be replaced by buses. During the five-week-long disruption, X trains will operate between Leppävaara and Helsinki. The trains stop at Pasila, Ilmala and Huopalahti. The track work carried out on the Coastal Line is related to the Espoo Rail Line project, whose goal is to improve the punctuality and efficiency of train services. Buses will replace train services and provide alternative connections
During the disruptions to train services, buses will operate as usual and provide alternative connections. Most of the replacement bus services will operate between Pasila and Myyrmäki, as well as west of Leppävaara. We will also increase the number of bus services.
