Bike Parking Service
By registering for HSL’s Bike Parking Service, you can park your bike in Bicycle Garages. The Bicycle Garages currently in use are Kaisantunneli and Kalasatama in Helsinki. The Bicycle Garages are secure, monitored indoor facilities operated by HSL’s partners, where you can securely park your bike.
Choose whether you want to access the Bicycle Garages using your phone or an HSL card, and activate the service.
Good to know about the service
- To use the Bicycle Garages, you must activate the HSL Bike Parking service.
- The garages are free to use; no valid HSL ticket is required.
- To activate the HSL Bike Parking service, you need an HSL account, complete strong authentication and agree to the Terms of Use of HSL Bike Parking.
- Additionally, you need to add an identifier in the service, which will serve as your key to access the Bicycle Garage. The identifier can be either your HSL card and PIN code or the HSL Bike Parking identifier, which can be added to Google Wallet for Android devices.
- To enter with your Android device, take your phone close to the reader at the door. If necessary, unlock your phone's screen so the reader can detect Google Wallet and locate the HSL Bike Parking identifier.
- To enter using your HSL card, show your card and enter your PIN code at the door.
Kaisantunneli and Kalasatama Bicycle Garages
The Bicycle Garages currently available are Kaisantunneli and Kalasatama, which are owned by Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd. At Kaisantunneli, you can also use services provided by the Bicycle Garage, such as a bike washing station.
